Dear Aunt Tara,
I have a problem with my homework. We have to do it in a group. It has to be finished this Friday, but Gary, the boy in our group, has done nothing helpful. He just keeps rocking the boat.
Every time we talk about the work with him, he always "Don't worry. I'll do it later" But he seldom does his job. And when he does it be the wrong way. Someone has to do it for him again what's is when Mas Lin asks about our group, Gary always tell her that we others don't work hard enough I'm really mad at Gary about this. We're in the same group. Shouldn't we help each other to do a better job?
Kate
Dear Kate
It is important or students to learn how to work together in a group. Maybe you should talk to Gary about the problem and tell him you all need his help. If he still doesn't changes, go to talk to your teacher. I believe she can make Gary do his job.
Aunt Tara
Three years ago I worked for a few weeks as a doctor in a new dental clinic(牙科诊所)at Victor Harbor to the south of Adelaide and an hour further away than my usual workplace. My first day there was a driving to a new clinic and getting used to the clinical environment.
As it was all new to me, I took off my rings: my wedding ring, and one that was an anniversary(周年纪念日)gift from my husband. I put them in a tissue(纸巾)and placed them beside my computer. During my lunch break, I noticed the tissue and thought that it did not look very clean and threw it into the rubbish bin. I went about my work and my day went well; I met new patients and felt that I had been productive
Driving home at the end of the day, just moments before I reach that were missing. I felt the heat in my body rise, my cheeks(脸颊)burning red. I felt sick to my stomach.
I spat an hour or so making calls, trying to find my rings. The first people I called were and clinical leader and they gave me a few phone numbers for cleaners I got in touch with already who managed the leaning services for the clinic, and she told me that the bins had already been collected.
I knew nothing could be done now. I had lost my rings. Bu after two or so hours, I received the most amazing phone cal. The cleaner had gone through the bins and found my rings! I was so thankful to her, someone who had taken the trouble to go through the bins-which is not a pleasant task-to find my priceless rings.
I worked at that clinic the following day, so I bought chocolates to thank this wonderful person. Unfortunately I did not get to meet her as she was not at work that day.
Save the Animals
Animals are natural resources(资源)that people have wasted all through our history.
Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers(羽毛), for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. Hundreds more are on the danger list today. About 170 kinds in the United States alone are considered in danger.
Why should people care? Because we need animals. And because once they are gone, there will never be any more. Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. They are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its place in the balance(平衡)of nature. Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems.
For example, when farmers killed large numbers of hawks(鹰), the farmers stores of com and rain were destroyed by rats and mic. Why? Because of hawks ate rats and mice that multiplied(繁殖)quickly
Luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem .And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger.
Quite a few countries have passed laws. These laws forbid(禁止)the killing of any animals or plants on the danger list. Slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing
As we all know, there are plenty of different parks to visit in the UK. All theme parks in Britain have cafes, restaurants, picnic areas and gift shops, so you'll still have plenty to see and do when you and the kids have been on enough rides. There are usually smaller "funfair" rides and games as well, so younger children won't get bored. Several theme parks also have other attractions next to them, e. g. water parks often open all year round, unlike the theme parks.
Whenever you are in Britain, there's likely to be a theme park within one or two hours' drive, bus ride or train journey. Several theme parks even have accommodation(膳宿)so you can stay for a day for two if you want to make a trip into a short holiday.
Prices for UK theme parks vary considerably; some have an entrance price which allows you to go on all the rides, while in others you have to pay for every ride individually. It can also make a difference whether you go during peak time or not. For example, tickets always cost more during school holidays and weekends than they do during the weekdays.
Theme parks always get very busy during the summer months, so if you don't like crowds it's usually a good idea to go earlier or later in the year!
If you're thinking of visiting a UK theme park, it's worth having a look for special offers on tickets. Products such as chocolate bars and cereals sometimes have "buy one get one free" offers on theme park tickets, so keep a look out in shops and supermarkets.
Our personal strengths are part of what makes us unique as individuals, and part of the value we offer to the world around us. If we're not aware of our personal strengths, we can't use them well.
The activities we enjoy often slow the skills we naturally have. Take a few moments to think about the things you really love doing and look at the potential parts that enrich these experiences for you.
Ask trusted friends and family.
Many of us come from cultures where it's polite to be modest, and this can make it hard to make out our own strengths without any outside help. Ask trusted friends or family what they think your personal strengths are, and see if any of the answers surprise you.
What qualities do you like in yourself?
For example, if you like the fact that you stick to your goals, even when the going gets tough, one of your personal strengths might be determination.
What makes you proud?
Think about three examples in your life when you really felt proud of the way you acted or responded. What values did you display and why do you feel proud of the way you acted?
A. Notice what you enjoy.
B. Take a look at a list of personal strengths.
C. Sometimes it's hard to judge our strengths exactly.
D. Most of us have role models in our business and personal life.
E. What was it about your action or response that made you proud?
F. We potentially miss out on true achievements in our lie and careers
G. The qualities you like about yourself will show some of your personal strengths.

When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be very difficult to let go of your anger forgiveness is possible-and it can be surprisingly beneficial to your and mental health, So far research has shown that people who forgive can have more energy and (good)sleep.
So when someone has hurt you cool down first. Take a couple of (breath)and think of something that (give)you pleasure; a beautiful scene in nature, or someone you love. Don't wait for apology. “Many times the person who hurts you may never think of (apologize),"says Dr. Fredric Luskin, wrote the book Forgive for Good. "They may have wanted to hurt you or they just don't see things the same way. So if you wait for people(say)sorry, you could be waiting a very long time." Next keep in mind that forgiveness does not (necessary)mean accepting the action of the person who upsets you. Instead, learn to look for the love,(beautiful)and kindness around you. Finally, try to see things from the other person's position. You may realize that he or she was acting out of carelessness.
