I am a student of a secondary school. Our school life is very i{#blank#}1{#/blank#}! My friends and I s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} hard at school. And we are good at lessons. We have a lot of time for our h{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. My classmates all want to join d{#blank#}4{#/blank#} clubs. Nick doesn't want to join the Art Club. He doesn't like drawing b{#blank#}5{#/blank#} it is too difficult for him. Nick likes p{#blank#}6{#/blank#} computer games. Mike loves s{#blank#}7{#/blank#}. He wants to join the football team.     Bullying (欺凌) is doing things to hurt other people. It is a serious problem at school.

Miah—now a 22-year-old girl, still {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (remember) how she was bullied in junior high school. "They kicked me, put sticks in my hair and took money from me. Even worse, I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (make) to eat rubbish. I {#blank#}3{#/blank#}never {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (forget) those moments. "

     Miah is not the only case. I saw another bullying situation when I was a student. Some students bullied a handicapped (智力低下的)  girl every day —hitting, pushing, and kicking her. They just enjoyed {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (do) it. The girl didn't realize that people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hurt) her. She couldn't even tell the teacher. The situation lasted for a long time.

    Bullying at school is getting worse, so, many people {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (try) to start anti—bullying(反欺凌) programs. Students in many schools have already taken actions. They {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (create) anti—bullying clubs. Many students have joined the clubs. They work with teachers to show students how to stop bullying. Some other programs have proved to be successful, too.

    In Wales, two girls came up with an idea to stop bullying on the school bus. They created a bus pass (乘车证) and made four rules for students: no bullying, no swearing(骂脏话), no smoking and no shouting. Whenever a student broke a rule, he would get a mark on his pass. When a student had four marks, he wouldn't be allowed to take the bus anymore. The bus pass idea worked. It {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (stop) bullying on the bus.

In Michigan, some students tried to stop bullying with friendship. They made DVDs. They gave the DVDs to students in their school {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (teach) them how to be good friends. This idea worked, too. After that, there was less bullying at their school.

    School programs like these {#blank#}11{#/blank#} (help) bullies learn to behave properly and they can also help prevent school bullying. I think it will come to a stop if everyone does something.

    I was ready to leave for my two-day trip. I had been busy with my work, and I {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(期盼) to get relaxed for {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(数个) days.

    As I started down the road, I suddenly stopped to turn back to my house and wrote a short message on a couple of cards to each of my children. I put each in a "{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(秘密)" place where I knew they'd find it.

    When I called the next night, they both said {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (兴奋地), "Daddy, I got your card. When did you do that?"

    I was moved when I heard these words. What I had never thought was that a small thing had a big {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(影响) on my kids. It showed that they were in my heart.     When you have dinner, you follow table manners. When you have a l{#blank#}1{#/blank#} , you obey the rules in the classroom. But have you ever thought about needing to m{#blank#}2{#/blank#} your manners in the digital(数码的) world when you use phones, e-mails and social media, like QQ, WeChat, etc?

    As new research by Oxford University noted, "It's just important to treat people with respect online as it is in real life." The study came up with some rules of good manners to live by in the digital age.     Nowadays, technology has o{#blank#}10{#/blank#} us different ways to contact others. It is important to remember how to behave toward others online.

    One afternoon, I went into an art museum. While I was {#blank#}1{#/blank#} for my friend, I saw a young couple (夫妻). The woman was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the paintings. The man was quiet all the time. I .thought the man was very nice because nobody would like to be bothered (被打扰) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} enjoying the paintings.

    I met them a few {#blank#}4{#/blank#} as I moved through the different rooms of the art museum. Each time I heard the woman talking, I moved away {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

    I was paying for some {#blank#}6{#/blank#} at the museum shop when the couple walked slowly to the exit (出口). Before they left, the man {#blank#}7{#/blank#} out a cane (拐杖). "He is a great man," the worker of the shop said. "He {#blank#}8{#/blank#} not to change his life after his eyes got hurt. He can't see {#blank#}9{#/blank#} now. He and his wife-come here whenever there is a new art show. "

    "But what can he get from the art? He can't see!" I said.
