Today is Sunday. My family likes to have fun together. In the morning, we plant potatoes on the farm. Then we go to the zoo to watch the animals. In the afternoon, we fly kites together. And in the evening, we go to the cinema to watch a film. At 8：00 pm, we watch TV at home.

    Joe was a poor old man．He had very little food to eat．One day Joe went into the forest to collect firewood(木柴)．In the afternoon，he was tired and hungry．He wanted to rest so he sat under a tree．He took a small potato out of his bag for lunch．Just then he saw a girl looking at him．She was holding(拿)a bottle of water．

    Joe said to the girl，"Are you hungry ?Come and have my potato．" "Thank you．That's very kind of you．"said the girl．"You can have my water．"They sat down and shared (分享)the food and water together happily．

    After the meal，the girl left．Joe went on collecting firewood．He felt his body becoming stronger．He finished(完成)his work and got home early that day．When he looked in the mirror, he was surprised(惊讶的)to see a strong young man.

    I like animals very much. I have a dog. It's my favourite animal. It's white. It looks like a snow ball. It has two big eyes and small nose. But its nose and mouth are very small. It's very naughty(淘气). It often stares at my food when I have a meal. When I'm at home it follows me all the time. When I do my homework, it often sits beside quietly, but sometimes runs around me and shouts: wom wom. I like my dog very much.

    Spring Festival is an important festival in China. At Spring Festival, people buy some flowers and put them in their houses. The children get red packets(红包) from their grandparents. They burn firecrackers(爆竹). And they have a big family dinner. They eat dumplings. They can see dragon dances(舞龙) and lion dances(舞狮). It's very interesting.
