Srikanth Bolla, 24 years old, is the first blind CEO in the world, who built a company valued at over $75 million. Today, he considers himself the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (lucky) man in the word, not only his {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (succeed), but also for having great parents and friends who always stand by him.

    When Srikanth was born, some of his {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (parent) friends and relatives them not to keep him, because it was difficult for a poor family {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (raise) a blind baby. But his parents didn't follow them. They decided to give Srikanth a positive, loving environment.

    Life was not easy for Srikanth. He had to face many challenges all his life. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (refuse) by his village school. So he had to go to school for special children. He did very well in studies and also developed many hobbies such as chess and cricket. Later Srikanth found a teacher who was kind enough to turn all his lessons into audio clips, and helped him {#blank#}6{#/blank#}his exams

    {#blank#}7{#/blank#} high school was difficult for a blind student, Srikanth didn't give up. Instead, he worked very hard and tried his best to go to MT(麻省理工), and graduated from{#blank#}8{#/blank#} university in 2012. After his graduation, he returned to India, and decided to start to a company{#blank#}9{#/blank#}employed disabled people like him.

    Srikanth said, "Compassion(怜悯) is showing somebody the way to love and giving them the opportunity to grow up. If you do something good, it{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (come) back to you."

    She used to sleep on the sidewalk of the Fifth Street Post Office. I could smell her before I came close. She {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (wear) dirty clothes and her mouth was nearly toothless. If she was not asleep, she talked to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (she). What a poor old lady!

    One Thanksgiving, we had lots of food {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (leave) over. I thought about the old lady. She might be still hungry. So I packed the food up and rode over to the Fifth Street. It was a cold night. There was hardly anyone out. But I knew she would stay at the same place and I would find her {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (easy). There she was, sitting against a tree near the post office. She {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (dress) as she always was. I went to her and said, "I've brought you some food. Would you like some turkey and apple pie?"

    However, the old woman didn't seem to be very {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (excite) about this. She looked at me and said, "Oh, thank you very much, but someone {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (give) me food earlier and I'm quite full now. Why don't you take it to someone else who {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (need) it?"

    Her manners were gracious(亲切的). I was the person who didn't know what {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (say). An old lady whose life was {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (bad) than most of us still thought others. Why don't more of us do that?
