I used to live in San Paulo, Brazil.

    It is a huge city with more people{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (live) in it than in my own country. I rented a flat in a wealthy community, but there was a favela（贫民窟）quite near. For several months I didn't have a car, so I used public transportation to go to the city centre.

    Once,{#blank#}2{#/blank#}my way back, I had to wait for a long time at a bus stop. I was alone, except for a woman {#blank#}3{#/blank#} was apparently very poor. She carried a small paper bag of popcorn.

    While{#blank#}4{#/blank#}were waiting, she walked over and offered me some popcorn. I thanked her,{#blank#}5{#/blank#}I didn't want to help myself to it. She repeatedly {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(insist) that I take some from the paper bag.

    I was so moved by that woman's{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(kind) that day. I clearly had more than she did, but she naturally and joyfully shared {#blank#}8{#/blank#}she had with me.

    I think about how poor people are sometimes able to share the little they have more easily

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#}those who own a lot. I wonder if it's true that the more you have,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} more difficult it is for you to share anything with others.

    Nearly 610,000 Chinese students attended schools and colleges overseas in 2017. China remains the world's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (large) supplier of international students. A majority{#blank#}2{#/blank#}the students went to European and North American countries. Countries{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (include) in the Belt and Road Initiative (B&R) became new destinations, with student numbers {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (rise) by 15.7 percent in 2017. At the same time, about 480,000 graduates returned to China.     Meanwhile, a total of 490,000{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (foreign) from 204 countries and regions studied in China is 2017. Students from the Republic of Korea, Thailand and Pakistan were the most numerous, while the United States ranked {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (four). Students from B&R countries accounted for 64.9 percent of{#blank#}9{#/blank#} total. About 59,000 international students in China {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(support) by Chinese government scholarships.

    The following are some greatest artists or painters in the world.

    Pablo Picasso was considered {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（be）the greatest western artist of the twentieth century,{#blank#}2{#/blank#}was a Spanish artist. Picasso and another painter, George Braque, started Cubism.

    Roy Lichtenstein was{#blank#}3{#/blank#}contemporary American artist. One of{#blank#}4{#/blank#}（he） works is a world famous example of pop art. Pop art was an important modern art movement that {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（aim） to show ordinary twentieth-century city life.

    Qi Baishi was one of China's {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（great） painters. He followed the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（tradition） Chinese style of painting. Chinese painting is known {#blank#}8{#/blank#}its brush drawings in black inks and natural colours. Qi Baishi's paintings are special because he observed the world of nature very{#blank#}9{#/blank#}（careful）.

    Xu Beihong was one of China's best-known twentieth-century{#blank#}10{#/blank#}（artist）.

    Like Qi Baishi, Xu painted in the traditional Chinese style and is most famous for his lively paintings of horses.
