On many campuses, it has become a trend for a host of students to participate in various {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(activity). Involved in some positive ones, students find them quite {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(benefit) and rewarding.

     A case in point is the English club {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the activity of learning benefits me most. In contemporary world, English learning has gained great popularity and it is {#blank#}4{#/blank#}great importance for students to learn English well. However, I {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(meet) a variety of difficulties in study so far. For instance, I have trouble {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(memorize) words. Sometimes, it is also difficult for me to understand the rules of grammar. Although I can read and write, I cannot express myself freely in English.

     Then, how to get a good command of his language for me? I{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(convince) that practice makes perfect and that joining the English club is worthwhile. In the English club, daily practice enables me {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(speak) and write fluently. It is also through constant practice {#blank#}9{#/blank#} I can master the rules of grammar and remember words. I will bear in mind that {#blank#}10{#/blank#} I try my best to practice every day, the future of my English learning will be promising.

    It was a sunny day. A little boy's father was sitting on the couch, drinking a beer, while {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (watch) a basket match. On the cover of the magazine was a large picture of the world. The father, who{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(bother) and angry, began tearing the magazine cover into small {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Then, the father turned to his boy and said, “Son, once you put this picture back together, we can play catch,  but do not interrupt me again{#blank#}7{#/blank#} you finish.”

    A few minutes later, the boy returned and said, “I{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (finish), Daddy! Can we play catch now?” Surprised, the father glanced towards his child, and there lay the magazine with the world together. The dad asked his child{#blank#}9{#/blank#} he put the world together so quickly.

    “{#blank#}10{#/blank#} was simple,” said the boy. “On the back of the world was the picture of a person, and once I put the person together, that's when the world came together. ”

    Music is in the comers of everyday life. It is said to be {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(benefit) to us both physically and mentally.

    There are many ways to make music. For example, if you blow into bamboos or shells, {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(permit) air to come in, they can produce pleasant music. A recent discovery suggests that music is played much earlier than we think. But if accurately dated, the Neanderthal flute is by far the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(early) known example of music.

    Now music can be found in every known culture, and even the most isolated（孤立的）groups have a certain form of music.

    Longjing tea, also known as West Lake Dragon Well tea, is named  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} its production region—Longjing Village of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

    West Lake Dragon Well tea has topped list of  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ten most famous teas in China. The superior geographical environment and good quality water resources around West Lake have contributed much to the growth of Longjing tea.

    Legend has it that Emperor Qianlong  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (visit) Lion Peak Moutain during his Hangzhou travels, and he saw several  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (lady) picking the tea at the foot of the mountain. He was so interested in it that he decided to have a try himself.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} picking the tea, he received the news of his mother s illness, so he  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (careless) put the leaves in his right sleeve and left Hangzhou for Beijing. He visited his mother immediately upon his  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (arrive) in Beijing, and Empress Dowager smelt the fragrance of the leaves in his sleeve and wanted to have a taste. Emperor Qianlong ordered some tea for Empress Dowager, and she found  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (she) completely refreshed after  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (drink) a cup of tea, and she even praised it as a treatment for all ills. From then on, Shi Feng Longjing tea  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (list) as the tribute tea (贡茶）especially for Empress Dowager.

    Two weeks ago, I helped my dear Joan, one of my close friends {#blank#}1{#/blank#} just graduated, move out of her apartment. We decided {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (have)a nice dinner before she moved back to her hometown 400 miles away, but being the caring person she is, she had offered her time to help her friends move during dinner, even though she {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (her)needed to pack and donate things.

    She isn't usually one to ask {#blank#}4{#/blank#} help, so I knew that I had to offer my time and energy with {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (determine) if I was going to be {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (use). I bought her something to eat because I knew she hadn't eaten and then {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (rent) a carshare (拼车) for her to ship her things. It was a whole disaster-{#blank#}8{#/blank#} first carshare we rented wouldn't open, so we had to carry the things to another car a few {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (block) away.

    This car then had no gas, so we had to gas this car, which pushed back our timeline by 40 minutes. Despite it all, it was a fun lasting memory with her, and I'm glad I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (be) able to show her my love through these small acts of service.
