Mattie celebrated her 6^th birthday earlier this month. For her birthday, she wanted to do something for other children.

    “We {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (talk) about Mattie's birthday cake when she said that she wanted a big one so no one was hungry at her party,” her mother said. “She didn't want anyone to be hungry and she got big tears in her eyes and asked if we could donate food {#blank#}2{#/blank#} people.”

    For her party, Mattie's friends arrived {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (quick) with gifts, but the packages weren't filled with toys, instead {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (can) and boxes of food. Once her party was over, Mattie, with some help, took {#blank#}5{#/blank#} donations of food to the Maryville Ministry Center.

    Mattie was not the only local child {#blank#}6{#/blank#} recently did so. Her best friend Eliana celebrated her 5^th birthday in February and decided that she wanted to give back as well.

    Mattie and Eliana are still children, though, and enjoy {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (play) with their dolls and stuffed animals just like every other kid does.

    “For being so young, it's a blessing {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (have) kids that are living for something more than themselves,” Wall said. “I'm pretty {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (hope) that it will continue over time and it's amazing to see {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we) kids doing things for others.”

    One morning, I was waiting at the bus stop, worried about {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (be) late for school. There were many people waiting at the bus stop, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} some of them looked very anxious and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (disappoint).When the bus finally came, we all hurried on board. I heard a passenger behind me shouting to the driver, but he refused {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (stop) until we reached the next stop. Still, the boy kept {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (ride). He was carrying something over his shoulder and shouting. Finally, when we came to the next stop, the boy ran up to the door of the bus. I heard an excited conversation. Then the driver stood up and asked, “Did anyone lose a suitcase at the last stop?” A woman on the bus shouted, “Oh, dear! It's {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (I).”She pushed her way to the driver and took the suitcase thankfully. Everyone on the bus began talking about {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the boy had done, and the crowd of strangers {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (sudden) became friendly to one another.

China's Chang'e 5 mission successfully delivered samples(样本)of moon rock and dust to Earth on December 17, 2020. It{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(mark) the first time in 4 years that moon rocks have been brought back to our planet, since the Soviet Union's I.una 24 mission in 1976.

The sample capsule landed in Inner Mongolia{#blank#}2{#/blank#}a little after 2：00 a. m. Recovery teams in trucks and helicopters located the landing site shortly after and secured the sample{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(contain).

While Apollo-era moon rocks are estimated to be about 3 to 4 billion years old, the material{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(collect) by Chang'e 5 is from a site in the northwest region of the moon's near side. This area was formed{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(late), and the rocks here are thought to be only about 1.2 billion years old. That means scientists could learn more about the evolution of the moon and test out new techniques for estimating the age of geological samples from other{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(planet)and moons(卫星).

The Chang'e lunar program, {#blank#}7{#/blank#}includes landing two lunar rovers(月球车)on the moon's surface, has been{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(remarkable)successful. Although Chang'e 5 was a short mission, it's one of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}most complex projects undertaken by the Chinese space program so far. The country is far from done with the moon—Chang'e 6, a second lunar sample return, is scheduled{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(launch) in 2023 or 2024.
