After continuing being h{#blank#}1{#/blank#} by heavy snowstorms in South and Central China, people there finally greeted the New Year with fine weather, w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} was a very exciting news to those who had s{#blank#}3{#/blank#} a hard life without electric p{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, water and food, and also good news to those who wanted to go home for the Spring Festival.

    Beginning in mid-January, 2008, a series of strong snowstorms in South and Central China did great d{#blank#}5{#/blank#} to people's lives as well as to industry production, transport and farming. H{#blank#}6{#/blank#}, all the people, t{#blank#}7{#/blank#} with PLA men, worked day and night and finally s{#blank#}8{#/blank#} in fighting the natural d{#blank#}9{#/blank#}. This has once again proved that we Chinese people will never g{#blank#}10{#/blank#} in to any difficulty.
