    One of my happier days was hearing that I was admitted into a medical school. It has been a dream of me for as long as I can remember. My father played big role in my desire to become a physician. See him live a life of services to others inspired me from a young age. Watching him to put on his white coat with the stethoscope（听诊器）around his neck was liked looking at a superhero. Hearing him share stories of how medical care saved patients' lives was enjoyable. As for me, medicine were the perfect mixture of wonder and science, that deeply attracted me.

    We all make mistakes and they are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards them may have a big difference. I still remember that my spoken English improved. In beginning, I always kept silent in the oral class to prevent myself from make mistakes. Before long my teacher knew about his situation. He encouraged me to speak out what I wanted to say regardless of mistakes. Whenever I have made mistakes and felt discouraged, my teacher and classmate would help me figure up how I could avoid them in the future. With time going by, I gradually made progress and now I can talk fluent in English. However, we just need to learn a lesson from the mistakes in order to improve our English.

    Li Dan was trying to wake up from her sleep. She sat up slow, yawning with her eyes closed.     Last term, I hosted an exchange student calling Jacob from the Great Britain to our school. He really cares for Chinese Culture. Jacob asked me to show himself around the city on weekends. I took him to many local place of interest and we also go to the theater to watch a show of Peking Opera. He was so attracted by the performance as he decided to learn it. My father happened to know a master of Peking Opera and introduced Jacob to him. Jacob was great honored to be one of his students. Put his heart into it, Jacob made a rapid progress. When he returned England, he gave a performance, for what he won much admiration from his classmates.
