    Zhou Yang will never forget his first assignment for a newspaper journalist. After he started to work, he had discussion with his new boss and it was to strongly influence her life. When he asked his boss that whether he could go out on a story at once, the boss had him work with a colleague. Dear Sir,

    Having read about your newspaper's decision to start a campaign for protecting the environment, I decide to write you this letter.

    The state of our park is very shocked, with rubbish everywhere. I was used to find a trip to the park very relaxing. Upon the arrival of spring, beautiful birds would sing happy in the park. I enjoyed this very much. Therefore, now I just find it tiring, because I have to pick up rubbish where I am going to sit. The grass is covered on plastic bags and food. I am sad that the young people of today do not clean up after themselves before he leave the park. There are so much interesting animals and insects living in our parks.     As a student, I have taken a great many of exams. Whether I have been good prepared or not, I will keep calm and confidently. That is because I know the purpose of exams is to find out the knowledges we can't understand. Therefore, there was a time when I was afraid of exams. I was afraid that I couldn't get high marks or fail the exam, I would be laughed at by others. Later, my teacher, she realized my problem, had the face-to-face talk with me. After I followed the advice giving by my teacher I finally overcame my fear.

    Research shows most students often communicate with their parents, and there are still some who think it embarrassed to share their ideas with them.     Everyone should take the action to reduce haze (雾霾), which is harmless to our health. First of all, I believe that if we plant more tree, there will be less haze in their city. Trees can absorb exhaust fumes (尾气) from cars, thus reduce pollution. Second, the government should punish the factories where produce too many fumes. Exhaust fumes is the main cause of haze and do greatly harm to people's health. Maybe we can move factories to areas where few people live. Third, I think it was a great idea to encourage people to use public transportation. Last but not least, we can call on citizens ride bikes if they travel short journeys.

    Smoking is widespread habit even among teenage students. The number of young smokers are increasing. It is estimated that over 10% of the senior high school students have tried smoking once or more and some of them even steal money from their parent to buy cigarettes, that is terrible.

    As it is known to all, smoking is harmful for health. And it's even more harmful to teenage students for it does greatly harm not only to their health but also to their mind.

    Teenage students are future builders of the country. They should spend their time learn what is useful but keep a healthy lifestyle as well. So it's high time that teenage smokers make up their minds to give up smoking.
