    Today is Sunday. It's seven thirty in the morning. The weather is fine. Kate and her parents are going to the Great Wall. Kate's father is a doctor. Her mother is a teacher. Now they're getting on a big bus. There are twenty-two people on it. Some are English,and some are American and Japanese. They look very happy. They're going to the Great Wall,too. There are four Chinese on the bus. A young woman,she's the driver. A young man,he's the guide. My father and I are going to the Great Wall,too.

    It's seven o'clock in the morning. It's time for breakfast. Jenny's mother is cooking in the kitchen. Jenny would like some milk and bread. Li Ming would like some eggs, bread and juice. After breakfast, Jenny and Li Ming will go to school by bike.

A: Excuse me, girls. Is there a post office here? I want to send a postcard.

B: Yes, there is. It's behind the supermarket.

A: Is there a bakery there? I want to buy some cakes, too.

B: Yes. There's a bakery next to the post office.

A: Are there any book shops and fruit shops, too?

B: Let me see. There aren't any fruit shops on this street, but there a big book shop here. It's near the park.

A: A park? What's in it? What can you do there?

B: We can ride the bicycles, play football and fly the kites there. Let's show you the way.

B: It's our pleasure.
