On September 12^th this year, you will see a full moon. It is the Mid-Autumn Festival. The festival is on the 15^th day of the eighth lunar month. And it is one of the most important festivals in China.

    It is a big time for families and friends to get together. In the evening, people sit around a table and look at the bright moon. They eat sweet or salty moon cakes. People can see a lot of lanterns on the street. Children like guessing the answers to the lantern riddles.

    The Mid-Autumn Festival is also a harvest festival. Farmers begin to harvest fruits and vegetables.

    I'm Sally.I have three new teachers.A Chinese teacher，a maths teacher， and an art teacher.My Chinese teacher is Miss Zhang.She's pretty and young.My maths teacher is Mrs Liu.She's tall and thin.My art teacher is Mr Sun.He's tall and strong.He's very kind.

    Mr Black lives in a tall building with his wife(妻子), Mrs Black. They live on the twelfth floor. Mr Black is a worker in a factory. He works from Monday to Friday. He's free at weekends. He likes growing flowers. He plants many flowers on the balcony(阳台). The flowers are very beautiful and Mrs Black likes them very much. She often helps Mr Black.

    I am a boy. I have different(不同的)clothes. In summer, it is very hot. I can go swimming in the pool. I like wearing T-shirts and shorts. Girls wear blouses and skirts. The skirts are colourful. In winter, it is cold. I usually wear heavy(厚的)clothes to keep warm. People always wear coats, sweaters, jeans and boots.

    Most kids like animals. Some girls like cats, and some boys like dogs. However, my favourite animal is the horse.

    Horses are strong. They look wild and run very fast. They are very friendly after they get to know you. Horses remember the way home. They are also helpful to people. They even understand what you are trying to tell them. I heard many stories about how a horse saved his master's(主人的) life. That's also the reason why I love horses.

    Where are my students? They are not in the classroom. They are not on the playground. Where are they? They are in the library. Janet is doing her homework. Her Chinese book is on the desk. Ben is reading a storybook. Mike is not reading comic books (漫画书). He is asking Sally the maths questions. I am Mr White, their teacher. I am working in the teachers' office.
