John lives in New York. His father has a pet shop there and his mother is a doctor. He's seven years old now and begins to go to school this autumn. It's a little far from their shop and his father drives a car to take him to school every day. So he's never late for school and his teachers like him very much. It's Monday today. Miss Green is teaching them to count from one to ten. John is studying hard. Soon he can count them. Miss Green is very happy and asks, "How many people are there in your family, John?" John is standing and begins to count with his fingers(手指). Then he says, "Two, Miss Green. ""Who are they?" "My father and mother. ""Oh. I'm afraid you are wrong. There are seven floors in the school building. There are many people come to the school. But they don't know the way where they should go. They have to ask the guides.
