On Sunday we have a trip. We take different bags. Amy's is small and light. It's easy for her to carry it. John's bag is green and heavy. It's hard for him to carry it. Lingling's bag has got four wheels. It's easy for her to carry it. I have a beautiful bag. And I put lots of delicious food in it. It's heavy for me.

Seasons In Lishui

    Lishui is a beautiful city. The mountains are green. The air is fresh. And the water is clean. There are 4 seasons in Lishui — spring, summer, autumn and winter.

    Spring comes from March to May. It is warm and often rains. Spring is beautiful with flowers and songs. People always enjoy the flowers with their family on the weekend. Children like to fly kites. After spring, summer is coming. It is in June, July and August. The days are long. It is sunny and hot. People like going swimming and boating. Children like summer best, because they like the summer holiday and they can eat ice-cream. Autumn comes with September. The weather becomes cooler and it's often windy. Autumn is golden. Farmers are busy picking oranges. Because there are many orange trees in Lishui. So people can eat delicious oranges in this season. People also like to go hiking and climb mountains on the weekend. Winter is cold and the year is gone. It comes from December to February. It doesn't often snow in Lishui. Chinese New Year and the winter holiday are all in winter. So winter is a happy season for us.

    Today we are very happy today . It is Sunday . We don't go to school . We get up late and eat breakfast at eight o'clock . We go out at nine o'clock . We go to the bookstore at ten o'clock . Then we eat lunch in a restaurant at one o'clock . We are in the supermarket at two fifteen . Then we go to the swimming pool at four o'clock . We have fun there . We get home at five forty-five . We are very hungry .

    There are six lessons today. In the morning, we have English, Chinese, Maths and Music. I like Music and Chinese. From 11:30 a. m. to 1:30 p.m., we have lunch at school and we have a lunch break. In the afternoon, we have PE and Science. I like Science very much.

    My grandpa lives in Changsha. He likes sports very much. There's a very big park near my grandpa's home. He plays sports there every day. My uncle works in a bank. The bank is on the right of the park. Behind the park, there's a shopping centre. My aunt always goes shopping there at weekends. Near the shopping centre, there's a cinema. My cousin and I often go there to see a film.

    It's three o'clock in the afternoon. Some girls are in the park. Linda is flying a kite with her friend, Lucy. Mary is near a river. What's she doing? She is watching fish. They are swimming in the river. Amy is behind a tall tree. She is dancing. And what is Lily doing? She's drawing a picture. They are all very happy in the park.
