They also said that 25 years ago, people couldn't imagine how the Internet {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the smart phones would change our lives. But today, both have changed the way we communicate, learn and do daily things, and the changes in the next century will probably be even {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (great).

    Those{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (question) in the research said that people may not go to offices in the future but will work at home instead. People will have advanced 3D printers that will let {#blank#}7{#/blank#} download a design for furniture or a food recipe and then “print” the sofa, table or pizza at home. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} will also be less need for visits to the doctor. People will have a home health capsule that will “diagnose” what the problem is and provide {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (treat).     Although most people believe that formal schooling is required for scientific success, a college degree is not always necessary. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}excellent example of a man who won fame as a scientist {#blank#}2{#/blank#}academic(学术的) training is Vincent J. Schaefer. His formal education ended {#blank#}3{#/blank#} two years of high school when he had to go to work in an untrained job at General Electric.     Yuan Longping was born in 1930.Since he graduated from Southwest Agricultural College in 1953, he{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(devote)his life to finding ways{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(grow)more and more rice. As a young man, he saw the great need for increasing the rice output. At that time{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(hungry)was a serious problem in many parts of the countryside. Using his hybrid rice, farmers are producing harvests twice as large as before.
