There is a big old tree near my house. A black bird lives in the tree. Every day I take some food to the tree. The bird sees me and comes down. The food is in my hand. The bird comes to my hand and eats the food. After that it goes back to the tree.

    I give some food to this bird every day. And so the bird knows me. I like the bird and the bird likes me. We are good friends.

    It's three o'clock in the afternoon. It's cool and windy. The students are all on the playground. Look! Billy and David are running. Lucy is jumping. Kate is under all tree. She's drawing a picture. Mary is under the tree, too. She's reading a book. Mike and Jenny are doing kung fu. They have a good time.

    My name is Amy. This is a picture of my home. Please come and look at my home. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a study and a kitchen. I have my own room now. It's small but nice. There is a small bed in it. There is a red clock above the bed. There is a desk and a chair beside the bed. Above the desk, there is a photo of me. I love my room very much.

    Mr and Mrs White go shopping by car. They stop their car near the shop. They buy a lot of things and they want to put the things in the car. They can't open the door of the car, so they ask a policeman for help. The policeman is very pleased to help them. Just then a man comes up and shouts, "What are you doing with my car?" Mr and Mrs White take a look at the car's number and they are frozen with a shock. It isn't their car.

    Every day, Mr. Smith sees a man near his home. The man has a pair of sunglasses (太阳镜) and sits on the ground. In front of the man, there is a hat with some money (钱) in it. Beside the man, there is a dog. Around the dog's neck, there is a board (牌子). It says "I'm blind". Mr. Smith gives the man some money every afternoon on his way home. One day, Mr. Smith walks by the man, but he does not give him any money.

    "Why don't you give me money today?" the man asks. Mr. Smith is very surprised (惊讶的).

    "Aren't you a blind man?" he asks.

    "No, I'm not. But my dog is blind (瞎的)." the man says.

Jack: Hello, Jim!

Jim: Hi, Jack.

Jack: Let's go to the zoo!

Jim: Great! I love animals.

Jack: Me too! I like pandas best (最).

Jim: I like birds best. And I have a bird. It's green and yellow.

Jack: Cool!
