Anne is a newspaper reporter. She chose this 1 so she could travel around the world. The work has taught her many unforgettable lessons. She has seen wars, earthquakes and death. But she has 2 seen courage, hope and happiness.

    Last year, she won an award for her reporting in Africa. She was very proud 3 it. At first, she thought she got the award because of her good work. But then she realized that she should thank many other people for 4 help.

    Anne was born in Jamaica. Her family was not poor, but it was not 5, either. Her parents had to 6 hard so that she could go to school.     I thought of everybody I knew, my family, my friends, my neighbours… I suddenly thought of Bobbie Decbar, a boy with bad breath (口臭) and messy (凌乱的) hair. He sat right behind me in Mrs Polack's class.

    Bobbie 4 went to any party during the winter. His mother always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a cough, 5 we all knew that he didn't have a cough. In fact, he didn't have a 6. I decided to buy Bobbie a red warm coat that he would like.

    That evening, grandma helped me wrap (包裹) the coat in Christmas paper and ribbons (缎带), and write "To Bobbie. From Father Christmas" on it.     Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl who lived with her father in the forest. One day, a lion came to their house and told the father to let the girl 1 him.
