Life as Chopsticks

    Right now, more and more people are digging into their food with {#blank#}1{#/blank#}sticks which are called chopsticks.Even people eating with knives and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} begin to love them. Why are they so special? {#blank#}3{#/blank#} they have deep influence in many people's ways of life.

    Simple. There's nothing simpler {#blank#}4{#/blank#} chopsticks. Also the chopsticks don't cost much. In real life, we don't need to keep improving things all the time.Aim(目的).When using chopsticks, you can not pick up everything each time. Know{#blank#}5{#/blank#} you want and just do it. Sometimes, a little bit of focus makes the difference between failure and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} .

    Practice.Using chopsticks doesn't come naturally. You have to learn to use them and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} it. There's no better way than to practice. In real life, you may have many things you want to do, but it will be a dream {#blank#}8{#/blank#} you don't try doing it.

    Slowing down. Eating with chopsticks can slow you down. It provides you {#blank#}9{#/blank#} enough time to know yourself. It also warns your brain of your full stomach, so {#blank#}10{#/blank#}you will not overeat(吃过饱). In our life, we sometimes need slow down to have time to think, to realize that we're actually full and don't have to hurry through life.

    Scoring a goal is always worth celebrating. The Chinese striker (前锋) called Wu Lei scored his first goal in La Liga (西甲) on March 2. He is the first Chinese player {#blank#}1{#/blank#} has scored in the top European league. Few other goals could be compared to it so that lots of Chinese fans celebrated it {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (wide) — some of them even cried with joy.

    "I'm so excited! Several {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (month) ago I was scoring in the Chinese Super League, but now I've scored in La Liga. It's {#blank#}4{#/blank#} dream come true for me," Wu said after scoring.

    Wu is now a member of the Spanish club Espanyol. He joined the club{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the end of January. But in just his {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (five) match on the field, he scored his first goal. The coach Rubi said Wu is like "a floating feather (飘着的羽毛) with great speed."

    Wu was quite strict with {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (him) while training. He ever got hurt when he first joined the team, {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  he wanted to start training right away. He also told his coach that he didn't want to be treated any differently simply because he was Chinese.

If you're not sure how to talk to them about it, ask a trusted friend for advice.

    ★Protect your friends. Very often, somebody that you're not close to doubts one of your {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (friend). It's important to find out both sides of the story, but it's also a good chance to show your friend that you trust him by telling him.

    ★Return the care. There are times when a friend will lend you a textbook, or a shoulder to cry on. A good friend will cheer you up when you're in trouble and listen patiently when your friend shares a problem {#blank#}10{#/blank#} you. Be sure you are as helpful as your friend, because he will take notice and feel good you.
