I have moved to my new school since September.  It is a modern and nice school in Beijing. It has a playground, a library, severallabs, classrooms with electronic equipment and so on. It's quite different from my old school. It's larger, much more modern. This is why I love my new school.  If you are free, you are warmly welcomed to visit our school.

    Mary is an American school girl. She is in Beijing with her parents now. Mary doesn't know Chinese and she can't speak Chinese well. It's Sunday morning. She goes out. She is walking on the street. She is going to the zoo to see elephants and monkeys, but she doesn't know how to get there. She asks a Chinese boy. The boy can't understand her. Then she takes out a pen and a piece of paper. She draws an elephant on it, and shows the picture to the boy. The boy understands, and he shows Mary the wav to the zoo.

Bill: Good afternoon, Janet.

Janet: Good afternoon, Bill.

Bill: 0h! It's a nice picture. Who's the girl with a white hat in the garden?

Janet: She's my sister Kate.

Bill: She's lovely. Who's the girl in a white dress behind the flowers?

Janet: She's my cousin Lily.

Bill: What's she like?

Janet: She has long hair and big eyes.

Bill: Does she love you?

Janet: Yes. She is very friendly.

Bill: What's her job?

Janet: She's a nurse.

Bill: Great! I'd like to meet her.

    Lucy and Lily are twins. They're 12 years old. They look the same. But they have different hobbies. Lucy likes collecting stamps. She has many beautiful stamps. They're from different cities and countries. But Lily likes growing flowers. The flowers are all very beautiful. Lucy and Lily both like reading books. Lily likes reading storybooks. But Lucy likes reading science books. On Sunday, they usually ride bikes to the park. They can play with their friends there. Their parents go there every day, too.
