"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."—Albert Einstein

If you have a kid with special needs in the school system, chances are you have come across that saying hanging on a classroom wall.My five-year-old daughter Syona has cerebral palsy(脑瘫)and it means, combined with her communication and sight problems, that normal standard isn't always an accurate measure of her abilities.

By now you have probably heard about Chris Ulmer, the 26-yearold teacher in Jacksonville,Florida, who starts his special education class by calling up each student individually to give them much admiration and a high-five.I couldn't help but be reminded of Syona's teacher and how she supports each kid in a very similar way.Ulmer recently shared a video of his teaching experience."I have seen their confidence increase rapidly."he said. All I could think was: how lucky these students are to have such good teachers.

Syona's teacher has an attitude that can best be summarized in one word: awesome. Her teacher doesn't focus on what can't be done—she focuses on what can be done.Over the past several months,my husband Dilip and I have seen Syona's confidence increase tenfold. She uses words she wouldn't have thought of using before. She recently told me about her classmate's trip to Ecuador and was very proud when I understood her on the first try.

I actually wonder what the influence would be if we did something similar to what Ulmer does with his students in our home. We've recently started our day by reminding each other of the good qualities we all possess. If we are reminded of our strengths on a regular basis,we will become increasingly confident about progress and success.

(1)、What does the author think of Albert Einstein's saying?

(2)、What can we learn about Syona's teacher?

(3)、Why did Syona feel proud in the third paragraph? .

(4)、What change has taken place in the author's family?

There exist cruel wars, fighting and sadness in the world today, so it's not only necessary, but also essential to have a good sense of humor just to help us go through difficult times in our lives. Putting a smile on someone's face when you know they are feeling depressed, as the saying goes, makes me feel good and warms my heart.

How would you feel if you could not joke around with wife, husband, child, co-worker, neighbor, close friend, or even just someone that you are standing in line with at your corner store? I am always saying things that make others smile or laugh, even if I don't know the person I'm joking around with. My Grandma always found humor in everything she did, even if it was the hardest job anyone could imagine. This not only relieves stress in any situation, but also is a common manner to speak to others that are around you.

I know of a few people that don't have a funny bone in their bodies, as they say. Everyone around them could be rolling on the floor after hearing a great joke and they would sit there without the slightest smile on their faces. They don't get the joke that makes others laugh. I am, laughing hard while they just sit there, looking at me as if I were from outer space. How can people not get a really funny joke?

Laughing is essential to keep your stress levels under control. Without humor, we would find ourselves with a lot of psychological problems, or on a lot of medications to keep us from going crazy. There is too much sadness and bring a little light into our lives. Therefore, I believe our best medicine is to get together and tell some jokes and have some fun laughing together.

The United States Postal Service(LISPS)is offering a way to people who are interested in seeing tomorrow's mail today. The postal service will send consumers images(图像)of their letters, magazines and other mail before they arrive. The new service is called Informed Delivery. It is an attempt to remain competitive in an ever—changing world.

Postal service officials say the increased use of email, digital messaging services and social media has made it difficult to stay relevant. David Rupert is a media relations specialist who spoke about the competition the agency now faces. Whether you turn on a television or your computer, or people come to your door with different products and services, all of those are competing for consumers' time and energy, he said.

Interested users are first required to sign up for Informed Delivery. Once registered, the consumer receives a daily email with virtual(虚拟)images of letters or other things to be delivered. The US Postal Service says it can especially help those who have a mailbox at their local post office, so they know when to get their mail:

Another postal offering is a service that seeks to make advertising-related mail-often called junk mail—more fun. The service uses virtual and augmented reality(虚拟现实和增强现实)to let consumers interact with their junk mail. Many companies put special coding on their advertising, which can give users an interactive experience. Some companies even put virtual reality eyeglasses in the mail to make their ads come to life. Consumers have mixed reactions to virtual and augmented reality advertising. “You can find some good things within junk mail. It is a good idea. We'll see how it works, ”Postal service user Victor Teah said. But Jocelyn Coatney doesn't think it would change her mind about junk mail. “For some, that might be fun. But for me, it would be useless, ”she said.

As the weather gets colder, we start wearing jackets, and most of us stop thinking about the sun. But the sun's rays can be just as harmful when it's cold and cloudy outside. "Any exposed area of your body can still get sunburned," Dr. Apple Bodemer, an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, told Live Science.

Whether you spend a day on the slopes, skating on a pond or clearing snow out of your driveway, your face is still getting exposed to the sun's radiation in the form of ultraviolet (紫外线) (UV) light, which can go deep into your skin cells causing DNA damage, according to Bodemer.

The sun's long ultraviolet A (UVA) waves can cause earlier aging, sunspots and wrinkles, while its short ultraviolet B (UVB) rays are known for causing skin reddening and burns.

Skin damage caused by UV exposure increases over time. More exposure to radiation contributes to more severe damage, even skin cancer. In addition, snow and ice can also make sun damage worse. They reflect up to 80 percent of UV rays reaching the ground. That means you get hit from both the sky and the ground. And skiers and snowboarders increase their risk of getting sunburned even more because UV exposure increases at higher altitudes.

"Generally, the biggest factor for sun-sensitivity is how pale your skin is," he said. "But, the reality is that even the darkest individual can get sun damage."

Luckily, the solution for protecting your skin is simple: Wear sunscreen every day. Rigel recommended using sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30, and going higher at high altitudes. As a rule of thumb, SPF 30 will block 97 percent of UVB rays, SPF 50 blocking 98 percent, and SPF 100 blocking 99 percent. Whatever kind of sunscreen you use, it's important to apply SPF about once every 2 hours.

Rigel also suggested sunscreens with "broad spectrum (光谱)"—to protect against both UVB and UVA rays—as well as sunscreens that are water resistant for up to 80 minutes. That way, you can go about your day without it wearing off too quickly.
