    The new term is coming! It's time for school. Last term, I make little effort on my English, but my grades were not satisfying. During the holiday, I realized English was of great important and made up my mind to make a progress. My plan goes as follows: for one thing, I will learn new words for at least 20 minutes every morning and recite a l00-words paragraph; for another, I will try to be actively in class. Besides, on my spare time, I will read more books about different topics open my mind. I think I can improve me a lot in this way, because that there is a will, there is a Way.

    I'm a student from Chongqing, China. I am write to keep you informing of something about the severe situation that finless porpoises, a kind of rare and lovely animal, are facing with presently.

It's because of human activities that finless porpoises are endangered. It's terrible that there are merely less than 1,000 finless porpoises live in China. However, it's high time that immediate measures must be taken. Don't you think so? If possible, how I hope you can help us by funding your project aiming at protecting finless porpoises!     When asked about honesty, many people will surely say that honesty is very importance or it's basic to a person. I think it's great that every one of us has realized its importance.

    However, it seemed that there are still some people not full aware of it. Once I went to the market with my mum for a big dinner in Saturday. When we were walking past the stalls, a loud noise was caught my attention. It came from a butcher's stand, where a lady accused him of inject water(注水) into the pork and asked for the money back. And the butcher refused and even argued that it wouldn't do harm her health.

    We can also see being honest are easier said than done. I think we should plant honesty like a tree in our heart so that we won't hesitate to be honest when they are in society. With it, we will be fully trusted and popular with others.

    I went on a trip to Thailand during the winter holiday, that was wonderful because I tried something I have never experienced before. One morning when we were walking along the beach, enjoyed sunshine, someone strongly advised that we went water skiing. However, we didn't dare to face the challenge because that seemed dangerous to do it. My friends all encouraged me, so I finally joined in them. At last, I couldn't stop screaming in fright. Later I felt that it was an amazement filling with fun. From an experience I learned that we should be brave enough to try something new. Only in this way we find a better self to meet any challenge.

    This afternoon, our class had a discussion about being polite. Politeness, means communicating or taking actions with love, can make life beautifully. We should be polite not only to the people but also to things. I love reading book and a few days ago I read that love things or they will love us back. That's because we shouldn't destroy public things. It is no doubt that being polite is a good virtue and good deed as well. Unless you want to be polite, first being polite to yourself, and then to everybody and everything in every situation. When you give love to people and things, you will get back love with sure.
