    One activity that my family and I enjoy do every summer is taking our boat out. It's so many fun! We always invite one of our neighbour, Paul, to go with us.     When I was still young in my high school, my mother dragged me to play basketball to lose weight. However, it was turned out to be a bitter failure because I devoted my time on study. One day, a friend of mine contacted me and suggested that we started to swim. Without any hesitation, I agreed because we all thought that it was coolest thing in the world. I couldn't forget the day on that I was thrown into the cold water. Fortunately, I survived. Honest speaking, I had a hard time recovered from the shock. Then my friend teaches me to hold my breath underwater. Finally, I succeeded. Now realizing that taking exercises is beneficial to my health, I develop a strong taste for swimming, which becomes part of my life.

    Nowadays, it is fashionable for young student to use iPads. With an iPad, we can listen to music and download much learning material to read. Obviously, it's of great benefit to their studies, especially to improve our English listening skills. Some students, however, bring their iPads to the classroom to listen to music with earphones, but some even play video games, which make teachers and students very annoyed. In my opinion, the classroom was a place to study and concentration is great needed. Therefore, we should make a good use of iPads and other modern communication tools to help with our lessons. Meanwhile, which schools should do is make some rules help the students use iPads properly.

    Known for a national opera, Beijing Opera has a long history and considered as one of the world's three ancient operas. And it has the four roles, include sheng, dan, jing and chou. The characters are divided into beauty and ugliness, kindness and evil, which are presented vivid.
