They share DIY experience{#blank#}4{#/blank#}their friends. DIY can save money. So, it is not surprising that DIY is very popular.

    DIY can be difficult. People often find it not easy{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(build) a piece of furniture because they can't understand the directions（说明书){#blank#}6{#/blank#} (good) . What's more, DIY can also be {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(danger). For example, anything electrical should be done by a professional (专业的) worker.{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (unlucky), many people don't care about this warning and put themselves in danger.     Today I went to a conference, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} two students had a debate about the strengths and weaknesses of the Internet.

    The first speaker talked about the positive{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(affect) of the Internet on our lives. The first is its value for people who {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(look) for information now. For example, with the touch of a button or the click of a mouse, a student will find enough information at his or her command. The second is our ability {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (relate) to others through the Internet and it is especially important for disabled people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} can't leave their homes. The {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (two) speaker talked about the negative effects of the Internet {#blank#}7{#/blank#}our lives. For example, some experts think that the outcome of spending too much time on the Internet is difficulty in {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(form) social bonds. They were also quite explicit(明确的) about how heavy Internet users spend {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(much) time with their Internet friends than their real-life friends from school and work.

    Both sides presented lots of statistics to support their arguments. My own judgment is that though the Internet is beneficial, we should use our {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(intelligent) and not be a slave to it!

Living in a city can be stressful. But people in Bogota, Colombia have found a place to help ease stress and get a{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(peace) break from busy life. The place is a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(protect) park for hummingbirds(蜂鸟).

The park is at the top of Montserrat Hill. The area{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (contain) a forest which has turned into a quiet place for both people and birds. As the hummingbirds fly from flower to flower, some people take pictures with cameras or phones.

"Sometimes it doesn't seem real because we are close to{#blank#}4{#/blank#} city with the population of 8 million,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} create noise every day," said Camino Carter, a caretaker in the park. His job is{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(mix) water and sugar that is put in bird feeders.

Luckily, measures were taken by the government. Workers began to replant local trees and flowers to bring the forest back{#blank#}10{#/blank#} life.

Presently, there are 115 species of birds, including 18 kinds of hummingbirds in the park.
