Street art is a very popular form of art {#blank#}1{#/blank#} is spreading quickly all over the world.

    You can find it on {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (building), sidewalks and street signs. Now even art museums and galleries {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (collect) the works of street artists.

    People often have different opinions about street art. Some think it is a kind of destruction (破坏) and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} think it is a very beautiful new form of culture.

    In the street art world graffiti (涂鸦） can be the most popular. It began in New York in the 1960s. First some young people painted words and images on the walls. They found the paintings could show their {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(disagree) against society. Later, this colorful, energetic style of writing became {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (know) as graffiti.

    Street artists do this for {#blank#}7{#/blank#} reason. Some of them think they are closer to the people, while others try to express their {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (politics) opinions.

    In today's world, the Internet has a big influence {#blank#}9{#/blank#} street art. Artists can show their pictures to audiences all over the world. The street art movement lives with the energy and life of cities. It will continue {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (change) and grow.

    I met this elderly lady in town, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} I suppose may be someone's grandmother. The city has grown and everybody is so busy {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (walk), and at times shoving(挤着) other people. I'm not sure what made look at her as she walked slowly by with her wooden walking stick. Maybe it's because I wondered if I would reach that age and what I would be doing then if I did.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (sudden), her stick dropped. I was not so sure if someone had pushed her or it just dropped accidentally. She tried reaching for it, but I noticed that bending was becoming a challenge to her. I moved towards her, although I thought that someone would have helped her by the time I{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (reach) her. I was wrong. Nobody seemed {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (notice) or cared much. I picked{#blank#}6{#/blank#} her stick and positioned it in her hand. She gave me {#blank#}7{#/blank#} wide, honest smile and thanked me. She raised her {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (eye) and said something nice to me, still smiling.

    I felt happy too, and will remember that it is {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (meaning) to slow down and take notice of what is happening around {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we) and outside our own selves.

    We use flowers as messengers to say something we might have trouble {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (say) directly ourselves. Flowering in May, peonies' large petals and strong colors are linked to prosperity (成功) and richness. Beautiful articles and poems {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (call) “lanzhang” by Chinese people in traditional Chinese culture. Roses, of course, have the most colorful meaning among all the flowers. Red roses mean “I love you.” A red rose, rather than yellow roses, acts as the traditional romantic gift{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (give) to your love on Valentine's Day. Sending yellow roses can be risky, as they represent either friendship {#blank#}10{#/blank#} envy.

    The Czech Republic really loves celebrations, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(include) anniversaries, national holidays and many other festivals.

    In the fall they hold their harvest festival in different regions. People basically celebrate the harvest, recognizing that they have enough food to survive through winter. It's a tradition that dates back{#blank#}2{#/blank#} the time when people didn't have enough food to eat, so many died from {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(hungry).

    I felt very {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(luck) to go to a village, where a festival was being held. This village is known for its outdoor museum{#blank#}5{#/blank#} shows the lives of people from the past and the jobs they did.

    In the afternoon, there were not only performances of singing and dancing, {#blank#}6{#/blank#}also plenty of other activities to do. Bands started to play traditional Czech music on the stage. People in the garden{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(drink) beer and enjoyed {#blank#}8{#/blank#}wonderful music that everyone there relaxed.

    Through festivals Czech people remind{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(they) of their history, and at the same time have {#blank#}10{#/blank#}good time together with their families and friends.
