    We had a discussion on “overnight-fame” last week. Nowadays, many people were crazy about instant fame and wealthy. To be honest, it is not bad be famous or have a lot of money, but I don't agree with the view which people rise to fame overnight. We all know “easy come, easy go”. Let's take Li An as the example.     Yesterday my mother let me to help her make chocolate cookies. First we measure ingredients(配料). As soon as the butter was soft, we put them into a large bowl and mixed it with sugar. Next, she asked me to add eggs into the butter or sugar. Then it was time to adding flour. You must be careful that you don't add too many flour at one time or you'll cover everything in a white dust. Final, we added chocolate and some nuts. The mixture put on a cookie sheet with a spoon and twenty minute later, our delicious creations were ready. After taste some, I found that cookies taste the best when they are still warm.

Today was my father's birthday, so I decided to bake a cake for him. I didn't know how make a cake. I couldn't tell my father because of I wanted to give him a surprise. It was my firstly attempt, so I searched on the Internet and found much videos there. I choose the best one. I saw the full videos and started baking. First I collected all the things which might be needed to bake a cake. And then, I followed the steps and finally my cake was ready. Last, I decorated the cake by chocolates so that it looked more delicious. Then I gave the cake to his father and he was really surprising.

We students have had many tests or exams. We have both achieved success and suffer from failure, but different students has different attitudes towards failure.

Some fall in low spirit when they don't do well in the exams. What's worse, some even lose their heart and no longer study as harder as before. However, most students take an active attitude on failure. They find out the causes so that they will avoid made the same mistake.

In my opinion, failure is the mother of success, that can teach us a lot in the process of reaching our finally goals. Only by tasting failure can we enjoy fruit of success.
