Hello, my name is Li Ming . Today I make a birthday chart for my family. My birthday is June 9th. My mother's birthday is June 14th. My grandpa's birthday is June 23th.My grandpa is in America, my grandpa lives with my uncle Bill and aunt Mary in America, so I usually make an e-card to him for his birthday. There are 2 birthdays in October, my father and my cousin Alice. Alice likes dolls, so I often send her some beautiful dolls . My grandma's birthday is in April , it is very warm and nice in April, then when her birthday is coming ,we often go hiking for her birthday. There is none in August. This is my chart ,I love my family.

    A young boy was playing with a ball in the street. He kicked it too hard, and it broke the window of a house and fell inside. A lady came to the window with the ball and shouted at the young boy so the young boy ran away, but he still wanted his ball back. A few minutes later he returned and knocked, at the door of the house. When the lady answered it, he said, "My father's going to come and fix(修理) your window very soon.”

    After a few more minutes, a man came to the door with tools in his hands. So the lady let the boy take his ball away.

    When the man finished fixing the window, he said to the lady, "That will cost you ten dollars."

    "But aren't you the father of that young boy?" the woman asked. "Of course not," he answered, "Aren't you his mother?"

    Hello, I'm Sam. Last summer holiday, I went to Australia with my aunt. We went there by plane. We left Beijing in August. It was summer in Beijing. But it was winter in Australia. I like Australia because I like playing with snow. I went skating and took many pictures. I bought many presents for my friends too. I was tired, but I was very happy.

Save electricity

    Don't leave the TV on standby(待机) .

    Switch off all the lights when the room is empty.

    Tum up the air-conditioning by a couple of degrees. You don't need to live in a fridge.

Pollution

    Don't drop litter. Clean up your own mess, whether you are in town or out for a walk in the countryside. Birds and animals eat your leftovers (残余食物) and this can be very harmful (有害的) to them. Litter can also pollute rivers and the sea and can poison (毒死) the fish.

    Use public transport. Ride a bike or walk. Get your Mum and Dad out of their cars. They waste energy and pollute the air.

    Encourage your parents to buy eco-friendly ( 环保型的) cleaning products which use fewer harmful chemicals (化学物品) . Despite (尽管) the high price, they are well worth the extra money you spend more to save the environment!

Water

    Tum the tap off when you brush your teeth. We brush our teeth at least twice a day and each time we can waste 2-3 liters of water!

    Don't overfill the kettle. Put in just the amount you need. You will also save electricity!
