When I was a child, I spent each Thanksgiving with my large family at my {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (grandparents) in Maryland, US. It's a wooden cabin (小屋) on the side of a hill, in {#blank#}2{#/blank#} small and green forest. For me, that cabin meant Thanksgiving. 

Our {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (one) greeting (打招呼) was from Grandma's dog, Jesse. He met us at our car and jumped up and down {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (excited) when we carried our bags into the house. Inside were my grandparents, aunts uncles and cousins. Aunt Sue touched my face and told me how big I'd gotten. Grandpa {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (shake) my hands to welcome us. 

The next day, by the time I woke up, Grandma and Mom had already begun cooking. We all helped out. Dinner was finally {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (serve) at about 4 p.m. Before we ate, Grandma asked each person to say at least one thing that he or she was thankful for. I said, "I want to say {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (thank) to my parents, my grandparents and the food!" I was too hungry to think of anything better. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} everyone finished speaking, we enjoyed ourselves together. It was all delicious food. What we like the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (good) was the homemade apple pies. 

Then, we took a long walk through the forest. Under the late-autumn stars, we made a campfire (营火) and talked {#blank#}10{#/blank#} things when we were together. I looked back up the hill at the cabin, and one word appeared: "Happiness" . 

It's easy to plan your vacation in Beijing. There are many places of{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to visit and you can find them amazing. If you want to go shopping, you can go to Wangfujing Street. You can buy anything you like. If you want to visit a beautiful lake, you can go to Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace. The water in the lake {#blank#}2{#/blank#}clean. You will be relaxed and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} like you are a bird. When you are {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, you can taste tanghulu and Beijing Roast Duck. You can also drink Beijing tea. When I was a little kid, I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} it very much. You can visit the largest square (广场) {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the world—Tian'anmen Square.

Many years {#blank#}7{#/blank#}, it was not easy for people to travel around Beijing. But now things become different. You can take the subway. It's fast, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} it takes you a short time to get to the city center. There are many {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in the city. If you can't find one, you can take a taxi. You can also ride a bike by {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. It's fun for you.
