Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that inspires a love for reading and builds community. It is also referred to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} neighborhood book exchanges around the world. This is a creative idea {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (think) up by Todd Bol and Rick Brooks in 2009, which seeks {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (put) small book exchange boxes right in front of a house or on a street corner to offer free books to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (member) of the local community. Mini libraries of all shapes and sizes exist, from a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (bright) painted wooden house to a library based on Doctor Who's TARDIS.

Their website states: "Little Free Libraries have a unique, personal touch and there is an understanding that people are sharing their favorite books with their community. These are not just any old books {#blank#}7{#/blank#} a carefully organized collection. Besides, the library {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (it) is a piece of neighborhood art!"

    Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (exchange) each year among readers of all ages and backgrounds. They also play an important role in remote areas by {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (provide) access to books and encouraging a love for reading.

    Swedish businessman Nile Bergqvist is delighted {#blank#}1{#/blank#} his new hotel, the world's first igloo(冰屋) hotel.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (build) in an small town, it has been attracting lots of visitors but soon the fun will be over. In two weeks' time Bergqvist's ice creation {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (be) nothing more than a pool of water. “We don't see it as a big problem, ”he says. “We just look forward to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (replace)it. ”

    Bergqvist built his first igloo in 1991 for an art exhibition. It was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} successful that he designed the present one, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} measures roughly 200 square meters. Six workmen spent more than eight weeks piling 1,000 tons of snow onto a {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (wood) base；when the snow froze, the base was removed.

After their stay, all visitors receive a survival certificate recording their success. With no windows, nowhere to hang clothes and temperatures {#blank#}8{#/blank#} 0℃, it may seem more like a survival test {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a relaxing hotel break. “It's great fun,” Bergqvist explains, “As well as a good start in survival training.''

    The {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (popular)of the igloo is beyond doubt：it is now attracting tourists from all over the world. At least 800 people have stayed at the igloo this season even though there are only 10 rooms.
