Always one hundred percent

    Every Friday morning my friends and I sit on the rug in class and practice our spelling words before the weekly test. All of us prepare for it very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (careful). And everyone wants to do the best. We have a contest {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (see) who can spell the words the fastest.

    One of us sits in our teacher's chair and reads the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(spell) words. Whoever slaps(拍击)the floor first gets a two-second head start spelling the word.

    A few weeks ago, Miguel had been reading the words, and Kevin and I were spelling {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (they).For one of the words, I lifted my hand in such a hurry that it {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (fly)back and hit my nose. We all {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(laugh )loudly. Miguel laughed so hard that he fell out of the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (teacher)chair, and that made us laugh all over again.

    There are always interesting things {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(happen)during the contest. We are happy to take part in the weekly test. Our weekly contest works out {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (good) even when nothing funny happens. We always get one hundred percent on our spelling test! You should try it.
