    Last week, I received one of the students from the US, which name was Mike. The first day, I went to pick him up at the Capital Airport and we chatted happy along the way. On the second day, we paid a visit to the famous Maoer Hutong, where we had an interesting rickshaw(黄包车)tour. Mike became very exciting about the driver's detailed introduce to the history of Hutong. The following day, I took him to Mei Lanfang Grand Theatre to watch Beijing Opera. Although he could understand few words, but he was still amazed to seeing the colorful costumes and the unique way of performing. When it was time of him to return to the US, I send him some gifts with Chinese elements, such as a Beijing Opera mask and a Chinese knot. He was very grateful for I had done and said him was really impressed by the rich Chinese culture.

    We are going to organizing a bicycle trip to our school farm this Sunday. It lie in the western suburb, covering an area of about 50 acres.     In recent years many flowers shops have been appeared in our small town. It is common for people to buy flowers when they go to a gathering, visiting a sick friend, or attend a wedding or birthday party. I still remember clear one day last year when Tom, a disabled student, presented some flowers to his mother to show his gratitude for her. He owing his entire life to his mother's kind and care. With her he would not have had the confidence or the courage to fight his disability. As a result the great effort he has made, he was finally admitted to a key university.

    Last weekend, I visit the People's Park with my parents. We were enjoying the fantastic scenery around while I noticed anything unpleasant happening. A young couple were taking some photo on the grass. The man was shouting excitedly, "How beautiful!" They completely forgot what they should bear in mind when travelling or ignored the sign say " Keep off the grass ". What shame! Such behavior left me deep on thought. If all visitors to the People's Park do as the couple did so, the park will be severe damaged and become messy.
