Hello, boys and girls, this is Lily. She's an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  girl. She's my friend. She's 11. She is in{#blank#}2{#/blank#} 2, Grade 1. She is Number 5. And this is my friend, too. Lily and Lucy are{#blank#}3{#/blank#} sisters. They are in the same class. Miss Wang is their{#blank#}4{#/blank#} teacher. Miss Wang and Miss Wu are good  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}   in our school.

    Thanks to the development of technology in the past few years, people now can read news on the Internet quickly. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} holding a newspaper to read, some people prefer to get worldwide news on mobile phones, computers and so on. So, does it mean it is the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of information technology and that newspapers will be replaced (取代) in the future?

    On the one hand, many people believe that newspapers will be replaced. Online news {#blank#}3{#/blank#} in a minute but newspapers can't. So, by taking advantage of technology, people can connect {#blank#}4{#/blank#} with the world in minutes. What's more, many people prefer to read electronic news {#blank#}5{#/blank#} they think it is not only fast but also cheap. Besides, using paper means cutting down trees. Reading online news can {#blank#}6{#/blank#} protect trees and save paper.

    On the other hand, some people believe that newspapers will still exist (存在) in the future. Firstly, not everyone likes to read online news since some of them think it is bad for {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. Secondly, the development, of high technology is not spread {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the world. The online services will only be {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in developed countries, but not in some other developing or poor countries. So, people there may still read newspapers.

    In short, although it is {#blank#}10{#/blank#} that electronic news has developed quickly in the past few years, newspapers still play a certain role in our modern life.

    I like rainy days. Here {#blank#}1{#/blank#} some of the reasons (原因). I think that rain can {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the air cool off. No matter (无论) how hot it is. it gets cooler when it rains. I like opening my windows {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the cooler air in.

    I like the smell (气味) in the air when it first begins to rain. It's {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of clean and fresh. I like the sound of rain when it hits things. I like closing my eyes and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to the rain coming down. and I like hearing {#blank#}6{#/blank#} sounds of rain. I like rainy days, because they give me an excuse (借口) to stay in and be lazy. That is one of the best {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in my daily life. I like reading a good book on a {#blank#}8{#/blank#} day.

    Here's another reason: I like rain {#blank#}9{#/blank#} it makes the grass green, and it helps the trees and flowers {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.
