彼得的周末

     Peter was busy last weekend. On Saturday morning, he went hiking with his dog. They had lots of fun. Then Peter read a book. His dog sat beside him and looked at the book, too. On Saturday afternoon, he went fishing. He waited and waited. He was so tired that he went to sleep. When he woke up, he got a big fish! On Sunday morning, he did his homework and washed his clothes. In the evening, he watched TV with his parents.

    Today is Sunday. John goes to the library by car. Mary goes to the zoo by bus. Jack goes to the park by bike. Tom goes to the restaurant by taxi. Amy goes to the shop on foot (步行). They are very happy.

    Tom is on the bus. He is looking out the window of the bus. There is a baby and her mother sitting behind Tom. The baby is crying. She is loud. There is a man and his son sitting in front of Tom. They are talking. Tom is going to see his grandmother and grandfather. He loves them very much.

Li Fei：Hello, Liu Ming!

Liu Ming：Hello! What a lovely day!

Li Fei：Let's have a picnic(野餐) today.

Liu Ming：Great!

Li Fei：Have some bananas, please.

Liu Ming：No, thanks. I don't like bananas. I like grapes.

Li Fei：OK. Here you are.

Liu Ming：Thank you. What do you like, Li Fei?

Li Fei：I like mangoes.

Liu Ming：Have some mangoes, please.

Li Fei：Thank you.

Liu Ming：You are welcome.

    Tom is an English boy. He is seven years old. This is the first day of the new term. Tom is very happy.

    He is going to school today. Tom's mother is very happy, too. She says to Tom, "Here's a new schoolbag for you, Tom." And Tom says, "Thank you, mum."
