Today is December 25 th. It's Christmas Day. It's winter now. It's cold, but I'm very happy. Because I can visit my grandparents. We will eat dinner together. I like winter best. I can make a snowman in winter. My mother's birthday is on December 12 th. So I can eat a big birthday cake in December.

    It's Sunday today. The weather is warm and sunny. Danny, Jenny and Li Ming go shopping on the Park Road. It's not far. So they go there on foot. Li Ming wants to buy (想要买) some crayons. He likes to draw pictures. Jenny wants to buy a blue skirt. Her favourite clothes are skirts. What's her favourite colour? Blue. What about Danny? He wants to buy some donuts and ice cream. Because he is hungry and thirsty.

    Eric and Ben are brothers. Eric is nine years old. Ben is eleven years old. Eric is a fat boy，but Ben is a thin boy. Eric can play cards，but Ben Can play basketball. Today is Eric's birthday. His friends are in his home. They give Eric some presents(礼物). Danny gives him a ball. It's black and white. It's a football. Alice gives him a toy bear. It's lovely. It's brown. Mary gives him some balloons. Three are red，five are blue and two are black. Now they are eating a cake. They are happy.

    I'm Tim. My grandparents live on a farm. I visited them with my parents last weekend. I saw many ducks, hens, pigs and cows. I helped my grandpa plant trees. I watered the flowers and trees. My grandma cooked the meals. The food was delicious. I was tired, but I was happy. We had a good time!

It's mine

    A woman finds a seat on the train, but there's a bag on it. So she asks the man beside the seat, “Is it occupied?”

     "Yes, she will soon be back." the man answers.

    The woman is very tired. She sits down and says, "I will sit a while till she comes back."

    Ten minutes later the train starts.

    "Oh, the poor fellow. She loses the train, but she can't lose her bag." After these words, the woman throws the bag out of the window.

     "It's mine." the man shouts out. But it's too late.
