They're from different cities and countries . But Lily likes growing flowers . The flowers are all very beautiful . Lucy and Lily both like reading books . Lucy likes reading storybooks . But Lily likes reading science books . On Sunday , they usually ride bikes to the park . They can play with their friends there . Sometimes their parents go there , too .

    This morning, there is a strong wind and heavy rain in Shanghai. In the park, many trees are blown down. In the afternoon, we go to the park to do some cleaning. Our teacher gives us some advice to clear away the fallen trees, branches and leaves. Then we begin our work. After an hour, we are working hard when it begins to rain again. It rains heavily. We don't take any umbrellas or raincoats. The rain lasts two hours. And we have to stop our work.

    Mother Cat and her son are fishing by the river. A dragonfly（蜻蜓）sings and comes. Son Cat puts down the fishing rod. He tries to catch the dragonfly, but the dragonfly flies away. Son Cat comes back and goes on fishing. A butterfly（蝴蝶） sings and comes. Son Cat puts down the fishing rod again and tries to catch the butterfly. Then the butterfly flies away. Son Cat comes back and sees Mother Cat has caught some big fish. Son Cat is sad. "Why can't I catch even a little fish?" says Son Cat. "While you're fishing, you catch the dragonfly and the butterfly now and then. How can you catch a fish?" says Mother Cat. Son Cat feels sorry for that. So Son Cat sits quietly and fishes carefully. The dragonfly and the butterfly come again. They fly around Son Cat, but Son Cat doesn't look at them. After a while, Son Cat catches a big fish and he is very happy.
