         With the development of people's living condition, more and morepeople possess their own cars. Some of us think it is good to own a car. Forinstance, it's convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation. Moreover, it shows that people are becoming richer and the country is much morestronger. It also made relative businesses and industries develop faster.

       However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars giveup waste gases and pollute the environment around. Too much cars will have somebad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lack parking lotsis another big problem.

As far as I'm concerned, we ought to think careful before buyingcars. As if we have cars, we may use it less.

    Failure comes to us sometimes. Last term, I met a painful failure, and it helped us find a new self. Before the final exam, I have promised my parents that I would get the best marks in all my subject. However, I did not listen to my teachers careful in class and paid little attention at my homework. As result, I failed two of my most favorite subjects, math and physics, which surprised everyone.     I am glad to know that you are coming to China for a visit. I think Beijing will be a great destination for you. Or you can visit the Beijing National Stadium, also known for the Bird's Nest. The city is sure to leave a deeply impression on you, ancient or modern. Old as the city was, Beijing is now a very tourist- friendly place. You can see and hear in English almost everywhere. Take a taxi or the driver will talk with you in fluent English. One thing to remind you is that the traffic rules here are very different from that in Britain. Be safety.

    Today I tried cooking a simply dish myself. I like eating frying tomatoes with eggs, and I thought it must to be easy to cook. My mom told me how to preparing it. First I cut the tomatoes into pieces but put them aside. Next I broke the eggs into a bowl and beat them quickly with chopstick. After that I poured oil into a pan and turned off the stove, I waited patiently unless the oil was hot. Then I put the tomatoes and the beaten eggs into pan together. "Not that way," my mom tried to stop us but failed. She was right. It didn't tum out as I had wished.
