Suppose you will go blind 3 days later? How would you spend those 3 precious days? What would you see before going into darkness forever?

    I should want {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (much) to see the things which have become dear to me through my years of darkness. I should want to see the people whose {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (kind) and company have made my life worth {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (live). First I should like to stare long{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the face of my teacher, Mrs. Anne Sullivan Macy, who came to me when I was a child and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (open) the outer world to me. I should want not merely to see the outline of her face, so that I could cherish {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in my memory, but to study that face and from it find the evidence of the love and patience with {#blank#}7{#/blank#} she accomplished the difficult task of my education.     I got laid off at 53 from a senior management position in a restaurant. And I knew it was going to be hard to find another job in the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (competition) working market.     Confucius saw many problems in the world in {#blank#}3{#/blank#} he lived. He looked forward to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (help) make improvements to change the world for the better. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (get) into a position of influence, Confucius tried to get himself appointed （任命）as an advisor to a number of different government officials.     Confucius believed in peace and order. He felt everyone had a proper role in society, and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} if people were willing to accept their role and show good {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (behave), peace would be kept. So Confucius laid out what he called ethics. These ethics explained how a person should treat others.     Few people would even think of beginning a new job at the age of 76, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} one of America's most famous artists did just that. Anna Mary Robertson, better known as "Grandma Moses"（摩西奶奶）, turned to painting {#blank#}2{#/blank#}she was too old to work on her farm. Grandma Moses was crazy about {#blank#}3{#/blank#} （paint） soon after she picked it up and worked hard at it. She painted {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(care) and her work were nice.
