庆祝中秋节

    It is the Mid—Autumn Day today. My grandmother, parents and neighbours are celebrating the festival together. We are eating delicious moon cakes in the garden. And we are enjoying the beautiful round moon. We are also drinking Chinese tea. We are very happy.

    There are four people in my family. My grandfather is sixty years old. He likes reading newspapers every day. He says, "I can learn something from the newspaper. I can know many people from the newspaper." He also likes watching TV.

    My father and mother work in the hospital. They are very busy. They don't have time to read newspapers. They use smart-phones to know news and read books. They say, "Smart-phones（智能手机）are very useful（有用的）. You can know what happens（发生）."

    I am Mike. I am a student. I like computers. I love news and many stars on the Internet.

Tom is seven. He goes to school every day. The school is near his home. So he walks there and comes back on time. But today he is late. His mother asks him, "Why are you late today? I am in the headmaster's office." "Why do you go to the headmaster's office? Because my teacher asks us a question in class, and nobody can answer it, but I can." "It's good to answer the teacher's questions." "But the question is 'Who puts ink on my chair'?"

    Mrs. Jenkins is now in a big shop. She is going to buy a coat. She is standing at the counter(角落). She is waiting for（等候）the woman in the shop. A fat woman is standing near her. She is looking at Mrs. Jenkins. "Excuse me?" "Yes?" says Mrs. Jenkins. The fat woman says, "Can you help me? I want a coat." Mrs. Jenkins says, "I'm sorry. I can't help you." "Of course(当然) you can help me. That's your work." Mrs. Jenkins answers, "It's not my work. I want a coat, too. I am a buyer(顾客). I'm not the one in the shop."

Reporter(记者)：Different people eat different food. Hi, children. Where are you from? What would you like to eat?

John: Hello, I'm John. I'm from America. For breakfast, I'd like some milk and bread. And I'd like hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch. They're delicious.

Reporter: Sounds great!

Helen: Hi, I'm from England. I'd like to eat sandwiches and salad. They're healthy. In the afternoon, we often have a tea time.

Reporter: Thank you.

Chen Jie: I'm from China. Sometimes I eat noodles and jiaozi.

Reporter: I like Chinese food.

Tim: My favourite food is chicken and hamburgers. I eat them every day. But I'm not happy. I am too fat now.

Reporter: They are not good for you. Eat some vegetables and fruit, please.

Sam is an office worker. One day Mr. White said to him," Sam, I want you to go to London tomorrow and meet Mr. William in his office.”

Sam went to London by train. When he got to London, he thought, "The office isn't far from here. I can walk there. I'll find it." But after some time, he was still looking for it, so he stopped and asked an old woman. She told him. "Go straight and turn right at the Italian restaurant. You can see it on your right, next to the post office." Then Sam found it.

After a few days, he went to the same place, but he couldn't find the office again. An old woman came to him. It was the same woman. She said," It was amazing! Are you still looking for that office?"
