Everyone is talking about Bird Flu. Yes, it is a very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} disease. It could make people sick. It will be a few months still before we have good{#blank#}2{#/blank#} for Bird Flu. In order to(为了) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Bird Flu, we shouldn't touch sick chickens or their droppings(粪便). So it is a good idea for people to keep {#blank#}4{#/blank#} from live chickens. But if you do touch an ill bird, remember to wash your hands carefully with soap(肥皂){#blank#}5{#/blank#} away. Also, don't forget to open your windows often and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} regularly(正常地). Getting {#blank#}7{#/blank#} sleep is also very important for fighting {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . Try to keep away from people who have the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} , and always cover your mouth and nose when you {#blank#}10{#/blank#} or sneeze(打喷嚏).

    The London Olympic Games is still a few months away. But in the US, kids had {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  in a mini-Olympics competition.
Michelle Obama（米歇尔.奥巴马）, the First Lady of the US, held the games. Children played basketball {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  four-time gold medalist(金牌得主) Lisa Leslie. They {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  played soccer and tennis with famous players.     Jack and his father use a computer at home. His father is a manager and often talks to his {#blank#}1{#/blank#} He also checks the times of trains, makes travel plans and buys tickets. Jack listens to music {#blank#}2{#/blank#} watches movies.

    Alice only uses the computer at school. She {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for information, does her homework, checks her email and talks with her {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in Australia. Mike uses the computer at home on Sundays. He sends email. And he plays computer (5){#blank#}5{#/blank#} too.

     In the United States, Mother's Day is a holiday on the second Sunday in May. It is a day when children give their mothers{#blank#}1{#/blank#}, presents and flowers.

     One of the best ways to celebrate Mother's Day is to give your mother the day off. Let her{#blank#}2{#/blank#}while other members of the family do the housework.

     Many families begin Mother's Day with breakfast in bed. Usually dad and the children will let mum sleep late as they go into the kitchen and get ready for the favourite meal. A Mother's Day{#blank#}3{#/blank#}can be made of anything your mum likes.

     After the food is cooked, keep everything nice on a plate. Don't forget to put the bottle with only one flower. With spring here, the children can pick up the{#blank#}4{#/blank#}flower from the garden outside. When everything is ready, carefully carry the plate and mum's favourite books or newspapers up to her bedroom. Cards and small presents from the children can be put on the plate{#blank#}5{#/blank#}it is given to mum in bed.

     Many families take mum out to her favourite restaurant for a meal. It is a good day to let your mum rest and let her see what a wonderful family she has.
