Good morning. This is the world weather report. It's warm in Beijing today. Children can play football outside. It's cold in New York. And it's snowy. Children can make a snowman. It's cool in Toronto. Children can fly a kite. It's hot in Sydney. Children can swim in the sea.

    Look at all the kinds of drinks on the table. There are milk tea, water, fruit juice, milk and fizzy drinks (碳酸饮料). What should we drink? Coke tastes great, but it is really bad for your teeth and bones (骨骼). It has a lot of sugar. Some drinks are good for us. Some are not. The health experts (健康专家) tell you to drink water and milk. Your body has lots of jobs and it needs (需要) water to do many of them. Milk is good for your eyes and bones.

    I am Danny. There are four people in my family. My father, my mother, my sister and me. Last Sunday was a fine day. My family went to the Zhongshan Park by subway. We went hiking in the park. At first, all of four were happy and excited. Father is stronger than all of us, so he took many things in his bag. We played games, sang songs and danced in the park. But suddenly, my sister fell down. Her leg hurt. At last, she had to go to see the doctor. We were sad in the end.

    The Smiths are Americans. They are now in Beijing. This is their first visit to China. They are going to stay in China for two months. They want to visit some cities and villages. They hope to learn some Chinese, too.

    Mr. Smith is a doctor. He will visit a hospital in Shanghai. Mrs. Smith is a school teacher. She is going to visit some city schools and village schools. Their daughter is a middle school student. She wants to meet some children students.

    They are going to take a lot of pictures in China. When they are back in America, they will show the pictures to their American friends. They want the American people to know more about China.

    Hi, I am Lily. I have a good friend. Her name is Sarah. She is polite. We are in the same class. We go to school from Monday to Friday. We have four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. I like Tuesdays, because we have art classes on Tuesdays. I can draw pictures in art classes. Sarah likes Fridays. We have music classes on Fridays. Our music teacher is Miss Yang. She sings well. She is very kind. We have lunch at school. My favourite food is beef. Sarah likes hamburgers best. We all like the weekend. We can play ping pong together on the weekend.

    Today is Sunday. I don't go to school. In the morning, I read a book and do my homework. At 11:00 in the morning, I fly a kite with my mother. In the afternoon, I listen to music in my bedroom. Then I play on the computer. After dinner, I wash my old shoes and socks. Then I watch TV with my mum and dad. I am happy on Sunday.
