A professor(教授) told his students to go into the city slums(贫民窟) to study the life of 200 boys. He asked them to write reports about each boy's 1ife and future. One of the students wrote, “They don't have {#blank#}1{#/blank#} hope．”
Twenty-five years later，{#blank#}2{#/blank#} professor read about the earlier study. He told his students to find out {#blank#}3{#/blank#} had happened to the boys. They tried very hard and{#blank#}4{#/blank#} that 176 of the boys had become successful as doctors, teachers and scientists.

Reading pavilions are now in some {#blank#}8{#/blank#} like Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xi'an. The pavilion is quite {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Only one person can come into it each time. A microphone in it records people's voices. Some of the readers will be picked and invited to {#blank#}10{#/blank#} on TV.

    Cultural values and true feelings are the keys to win praise. Both shows are leading Chinese people to enjoy reading. In fact, this is also why our country is trying to do now.
