The weather was great. The sun {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (shine)   all the time but it was not hot. After lunch, we went out and bought {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (lot) of nice things in the stores. We went to one of{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (beautiful) places— West Lake and boated in the lake. How relaxing and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (excite)! We really enjoyed {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we).

    Not only adults but also teenagers have problems in their life. Here {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a survey showing the main problems of teenagers.

    They feel stressed {#blank#}2{#/blank#} they have too many exams {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（take）. And parents usually send them to different classes at weekends. As a result, so many of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} almost become bookworms（书虫）. On holidays, they could hardly have their own time to do what they are interested {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Now more and more teenagers are getting short-sighted. They often read in bed or keep {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（read）for a long time without having a rest. Some of them arc crazy about{#blank#}7{#/blank#}（play）computer games. Some spend too much time {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（watch） TV. Another serious problem among teenagers is that many of them are becoming fat. They eat too much junk food, but they take little {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（exercise）. I think teenagers should think of ways on how {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（deal）with the problem. They should make a plan for study and hobbies and find time to relax as much as possible.

    I haven't written till now. I've been busy with the course and making new friends since I got here. I'm speaking English with my classmates all the time and going out in the evening with {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (they). We're a real mix of nationalities: Chinese, Russian, Italian, Spanish ... We talk about kinds of things {#blank#}2{#/blank#} English and I'm learning a lot about other languages and countries too.

    My host family are very nice. The parents are very {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (friend) and kind. The children are both in primary school {#blank#}4{#/blank#} they are very sweet. But they can be a bit annoying(恼人的) too. If we have to watch the film Frozen together one more time, I'm going crazy! I know all the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (song) by heart now!

    We live near the school. It's a short bus ride from Edinburgh city centre. There is {#blank#}6{#/blank#} ancient castle(城堡) and we 're going there next week. Yesterday my Italian friend invited me {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (watch) the free street shows. We {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (see) a magician doing card games- it was so much fun!
