Charlotte Simmonds is a 17-year-old student from Sydney, Australia. Charlotte spends most of her flee time on the beach she is also a surf(冲浪) life saver. Her job is to save on the beach or in the water, but she doesn't get any money this. When she grows up, she to work as a life saver on some of the most famous surf beaches in the world.
Charlotte joined a surf life savers' club with her older brother and sister when she was five years old. They stopped the car and Nancy walked to the old woman, put the flowers in her hands, and smiled at her. The old granny {#blank#}9{#/blank#} her again and again. She smiled happily, too.

" I do't know her.” Nancy said, "But it's Mother's Day, and she is alone. But I have both of you, and I still have my mother. Just think how much those flowers meant to her.
