My father is at home

    One fine afternoon John plays football in front of a house with his friends. A young woman comes up and asks him,"John, is your father at home?"  "Yes, he is. He is reading a book in his bedroom." Answers John. Then the young woman goes over to press the bell. The bell rings and rings, but no one comes to open the door. The young woman gets angry and calls to him, "You tell me your father is at home, don't you.'?"  "Yes, my father is at home. But my home isn't here."

    Today is the sixth of May. It is Nancy's birthday. She is eleven years old. There is a birthday party in the evening in her home. Many friends come. They all have a lot of fun at the party. Helen is listening to music. Yang Ling is playing the piano. Wang Bing and Mike are playing computer games. Now, it is time for the birthday cake. All the children sing “Happy Birthday” together for Nancy. Then, Nancy makes a wish, blows out the candles and cuts the cake. Everyone enjoys the party very much.
