    Most people think that only a genius(天才) can invent. That is not true, Many of the tools and products we use in our daily life were {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (发明) by ordinary people by accident.

    William Kamkwamba grew up on a farm in a small village in Malawi, Africa. When he was 14, he had to drop out of school {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (因为) his parents couldn't earn enough money to send him to school anymore.

    In a small house lived a poor man. He had two children Valentine and Mary. One winter evening, Valentine and Mary were staying at home. Then a tap (轻敲) was heard on the window. "You took me in and cared for me. You are good children and I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(欣赏) you. This branch shall become a tree and bring you fruit year by year."
