    I'm Peter. There are four people in my family. They are my father, my mother, my grandfather and me. I'm twelve. My birthday is on 15th March. My parents are both doctors. They help people. Their birthdays are both in May. My grandfather is old. He is sixty-five. His birthday is on 9th June. He likes reading. I like reading too. I want to be a teacher in the future. I want to teach Chinese in a school.

    Once a great boxer (拳击手), Tom Brown, goes to a restaurant for dinner. He takes off his coat and puts it at the door. But he is afraid that somebody will take it, so he takes a piece of paper and writes on it: "The great boxer, Tom Brown, put his coat here. He will come back in a few minutes (几分钟后). "He puts the paper on his coat and goes to have his dinner. When he returns(返回), his coat is not there. But he finds a piece of paper in its place. "A great runner takes away your coat, and he will not come back."

    One day, Alice found(找到) a book in the study. It was about clowns(小丑). She loved the story and she told her mum all about it. "Mum, I want to be a clown now," Alice said. "Well, let's make a clown!" Mum said and pointed to a big box. Inside the box, there were lots of old clothes and paints.

    First, Alice painted her face white. Then she painted her mouth yellow. Next, she put on her red nose. After putting on a red nose, Mum gave Alice a silly wig(假发), a polka dot(带原点的) jacket and large trousers(长裤). She also gave Alice big black shoes. "Now go and look in a big mirror(镜子), Alice," Mum said. Alice looked at her face and clothes. She laughed and said, "I am a clown now."

    I'm David. I'm in Grade Six now. I have lots of changes.

    When I was in Grade One, I was not good at any sports. But now I' m tall and strong. I run fast. I play basketball very well.

    I knew a few English words six years ago. I can read and write stories in English now.

    I was quiet before. But now I' m very active and have more friends. We always play and travel together. Last year, we travelled to Guilin.

    But the bad thing is my eyesight (视力). I had good eyesight before. Now I have to wear glasses.

    Ben is going to visit his grandparents in New York next week. He wants to give some presents to them. Yesterday he went shopping with his parents. In the shop，he bought a blue sweater and black trousers for his grandfather some books for his grandmother. Both his parents thought they were very good presents. Ben was very happy.
