Hello! My name is Messias and I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (life) in Brazil. I am 10 years old and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (finish) school in four years. Kids go to school from 7 years old to 14 years old {#blank#}3{#/blank#} my country. In Brazil we have only 4 hours of school a day. We have school uniforms that include T-shirts with the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (school) name on. Here are some more facts about {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (I) country. Brazil is the world's {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (great) grower and exporter of coffee. Everyone in Brazil {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (like) soccer and there is a stadium in every city. 3/4 of Brazilians like to live in cities, and most of the cities are on the coast. I live in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia. It is in the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (central) of Brazil. When I walk to school each day, I see many food stands selling pineapples, melons, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (grape) and other fruit. In Brazil we speak Portuguese (葡萄牙语). {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (sad), 60% of Brazilian homes have no toilets, 52% have no waste collection, and 70% have no running water.

    For this month's Young World magazine, I interviewed 19-year-old Asian pop star Candy Wang. Candy told me that she used to be really shy and took up singing to deal with her {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(shy). Now she's not only shy anymore and enjoys {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(sing)in front of crowds.

    I asked Candy how life was different after she became famous. She explained that there are many good things, like being able {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(travel)and meet new people all the time. “I didn't use to be popular in school, but now I get tons of attention everywhere I go.” {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(however), too much attention can also be a bad thing. ”I always have to worry about how appear to others, and I never dare to be {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(care) about what I say or do. And I have much {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (little) private time now because there are always guards around me.”

    What does Candy have to say to all {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(that) young people who want to become famous?”Well,”she begins {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(slow),”you have to be prepared to give up your normal life.You can never imagine how difficult the road to success is. Many times I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(think) about giving up, but I fought on. You really require a lot of talent and hard {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(work) to succeed. Only a very small number of people make it to the top.”

    Being a mother is simply the greatest success of my life. It has taken me on a trip that can always surprise and {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（education） me! I feel that my children has {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（bring） much joy, as well as worry and care.

    They are wonders to me every day. Each minute of every day is filled with different {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（activity）, feelings and a lot of comedy. From playing sports {#blank#}4{#/blank#}resting on the sofa, each of my children {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（fill） every second with laughter, music and discussion. They are kind-hearted and well-mannered. They have quick minds and they always ask or {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（answer） special questions. I feel happy that I can live with these lovely children.

    Living in such a big and happy family, it is important that our children understand humility（谦卑）. They should know {#blank#}7{#/blank#}hard their parents have worked to support the family. They should also have a responsibility to work hard, be kind to others, and never take {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（something） for granted.

    My mother and father always asked me and my brother and sister to have dreams, and I hope that I can do {#blank#}9{#/blank#}same for my children. I hope that I, together with their father, encourage them to dream big and try {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（they） best to do what they should do.
