On weekends, everyone is at home but each is doing their own things. It's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to get everyone together and do something as a family. What should parents do? Here are some suggestions.

Exercise outside

    Let children {#blank#}2{#/blank#} their bikes or just hang out in the open air. You can also just {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a walk together with other family members. It is great exercise. And it is good for {#blank#}4{#/blank#} .

Play a game

    Games should depend on the kid's ages. For elder kids, the father can {#blank#}5{#/blank#} chess with them. If your kids are {#blank#}6{#/blank#} , a game of memory is perfect. If you can't play the games, you can always draw {#blank#}7{#/blank#} on cards and make up your own game.

Go out for supper

    Going out for supper not only gives mom a break, but also offers a lot more time to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} about the past week together.

Make a photo album

    Go through all those old {#blank#}9{#/blank#} that are just lying around and get them into a book. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} you have a few kids, let each one do a page of their own. It can be as simple as sticking them in a book.

    From an early age, Parker always said that he would be an astronaut. But no matter {#blank#}1{#/blank#}much he studied, worked, and took tests, he never passed. Finally, he {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (grow) over the maximum(最高的) age for taking the test. He would never be able to realize his dream.

The knowledge from the experiments helped doctors to cure one of the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(bad)sicknesses for old people, and Parker was celebrated as a hero. Photos of the astronaut with a walking stick and no{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (tooth) spread all over the world. It showed  that persistent effort always brings reward, even though that reward may not be in the form we had first expected.

    Children today have many things to play with. They can watch television, surf {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Internet, or play video games. But what do you think children {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (do) for fun long ago? They read books. 

    Some of you might ask, "Are books {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (real) fun?" Believe it or not, books provide many things that television or computers cannot. Since books use only words {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (tell) a story, they can improve your imagination. You can picture the characters and background in your head and you can also imagine {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the characters feel.

    The words and sentences that are used in storytelling are also very interesting and usually cannot {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (find) often on television or on websites. They are sometimes so beautiful and touching {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they can bring tears to your eyes
