The United Nations declared March 22nd as a day for water in 1992. For human beings, water not only is an important resource to survive and g{#blank#}1{#/blank#}, but also offers fun and pleasure. Could you imagine what the world would be like w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} water?

Nowadays, we are f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} an increasing number of environmental problems such as water pollution and water shortage.  Something must be done to save and protect water i{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. The special day is a day for us to think about what we have done and what we should do. I b{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the environment will become better and better if we follow the spirit of the World Water Day.

    Tom is a very smart and cute boy. He is quite heavy {#blank#}1{#/blank#} he likes eating ice-cream very much. His mother doesn't want Tom {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（eat）it. She thinks it's not good for his {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（tooth）. So his mother never buys it for him. But he has a very nice grandfather. The old man loves Tom. He always takes Tom to the supermarket {#blank#}4{#/blank#}front of their house to buy ice-cream.

    It's Tom's {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（five）birthday tomorrow. Tom knows they're going to have {#blank#}6{#/blank#}birthday party for him. So the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（love）child is saying loudly in his room, "Please, God, I want to eat ice-cream for my birthday. It tastes great. "His mother  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（cook）in the kitchen. She says, "God can't hear you. "

    "I know, but my grandpa is in the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（live）room. He can hear {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. "says Tom.
