Journev to the West is one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature．It {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (write)by Wuchen9'en in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty．In English—speaking countries，the work is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (wide)known as Monkey． The novel has 100 chapters {#blank#}3{#/blank#} total．It can be divided into four parts． The first part {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (include)chapters 1-7，and it is an {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(introduce) to the main story．It deals with the earlier exploits of Sun Wukong．The second part， {#blank#}6{#/blank#} is from Chapter 8-12，talks about the monk，Xuanzang，and the background of his great journey．The third and the longest section of the work is chapters 13-99．It is the details of the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (forget) journey．The section is set in the poor lands along the Silk Road between China and India，including Xinjiang，Turkestan，and Afghanistan(阿富汗)．They overcome many {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (difficult) all the way and make and friends {#blank#}9{#/blank#} each other．Chapter 100，the last of all，quickly describes the return journey to the Tang Empire，and the rewards that each {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (travel)receives．
