We are students from Thailand,and we decide{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(save) elephants. The elephant is one of Thailand's{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(symbol). Our first flag had a white elephant{#blank#}3{#/blank#}it. This is a symbol of luck. Elephants are smart animals. It is easy for them to play soccer{#blank#}4{#/blank#}music. They can also draw very{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(good). In addition, they are strong enough to carry a lot of things for people. People say that an elephant never{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(forget). They can walk for a long time and never get{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(lose). They can also remember places with food and water. This helps them to live. But now elephants are in great{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(dangerous). People cut down many trees, so elephants are losing their homes. People also kill{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(they) for their ivory.Today there are only about 3,000 elephants. It is necessary for us to try our best to save the trees and not to buy things that{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(make) of ivory. It is important to remember that March 13th is Thai Elephant Day.

    Travel can teach kids more than a textbook. Travelling with kids is good {#blank#}1{#/blank#} them. They can find new interests. Travel makes information alive for kids, and makes it much more exciting than studying textbooks or {#blank#}2{#/blank#} experiments in the lab. While travelling, they learn how to deal with new situations, and communicate with other people. They learn patience, because sometimes it takes a long time {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (get)to some exciting or interesting places.

    I've been travelling since I was seven years old, For me, to stop {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (travel)would be like taking something away from my soul(灵魂). I can't live {#blank#}5{#/blank#} travelling and I wouldn't be who I am if I don't travel. Some people think it's hard to travel after having kids. But in my opinion, when people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (become) parents, it doesn't mean they couldn't travel any more. My children have been travelling since they were three weeks old.

All the celebrations show the happiness and excitement of people. People watch the moon, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} mooncakes together and make lanterns(灯笼)．These three celebrations have been passed from generation(一代) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} generation. Chinese people may think the Mid-Autumn Festival is not coming {#blank#}4{#/blank#} they don't do these three things.

In some places in China, people celebrate the festival in different {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. In Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, people eat taro(芋头)to celebrate the festival, because the taro harvest comes at the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} time as the festival. They eat taro and hope the harvest is {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in the next year. In Nanjing, people cook duck {#blank#}8{#/blank#} sweet-scented osmanthus(桂花), because Nanjing people {#blank#}9{#/blank#} it is a symbol of peace. In some places people make fires inside towers to celebrate the festival, because they think the fire is a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of good business.
